Hi, I’m Kenzie Hepworth! I’m from southern Utah and have been doing taxidermy for about 2 years now.

How’d I get into taxidermy? My dad got his archery bull elk and was so excited to get it on the wall. He brought it to a taxidermist and after 5 long years, they gave it back saying they didn’t have time to do it. I decided I’d put my love for animals to use and learn how to preserve them forever, starting with that elk.

Where did I learn? After a couple books, podcasts and countless hours on youtube… I realized I needed someone to teach me. I took a 2 week course from some of the best in the state, Ryan Cook and Scott Hill (a class I highly recommend). They taught me the basics and helped get me started.
